In the direction of infrastructure management in the Java-Bali region, one of the things related to the development of toll roads is to develop a road network for high density road lanes through the development of toll roads / toll roads. Improvement and construction of expressways according to the Java-Bali RTRWN. As part of the implementation of the above plan, the Department of Public Works through the Work Unit of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) is planning the construction of the Probolinggo - Banyuwangi Toll Road with a section length of 170,362 km, which will cross the Probolinggo Regency, Situbondo Regency and Banyuwangi Regency. The toll road is not only a freeway but also an alternative in terms of distance, time and total travel costs. To anticipate negative impacts and optimize positive impacts, an AMDAL Study was prepared. Important impacts arising from Toll Road construction activities during Pre-Construction, Construction and Operations are in the form of a decrease in air quality, increased noise, loss of vegetation type, traffic density at the toll road, cut off population access and public unrest. To anticipate these impacts, an Environmental Management Plan and Environmental Monitoring Plan has been prepared.
