As one of the countries with the riches, diversity of nature and extraordinary culture, Indonesia deserved to be said as mega-biodiversity country. Indonesia consists of 42 land and 5 specific ecosystems, also has an 81,000 kilometres coastline. The area of mangrove ecosystems in Indonesia covers around 22% of the total area of mangrove in the world. In terms of diversity of Zoology, Indonesia has 17 % of all species in the world, 12 % of mammals, 15 % of amphibies and reptiles, 17 % of birds and 37 % of fishes (The Nature Conservacy, 2005).
